St. Bernard's Crusaders (Eureka, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ferndale Wildcats (Ferndale, CA), 43-22 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Bernard's upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Crusaders host Eureka (Eureka, CA) to play the Loggers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Loggers go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Eureka won 56-29 in their recent league bout against McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Hoopa Valley Warriors (Hoopa, CA) in a Humboldt-Del Norte - Little 5 bout, on Thursday, January 25. Ferndale will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 79-22 league win over South Fork (Miranda, CA).
