The Gardiner Tigers basketball team (Gardiner, ME), was overwhelmed 56-35 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME)
The River Hawks now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nokomis for a A North battle on Tuesday, January 23. Skowhegan will confront a Warriors team coming off a 68-40 league loss to Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 2-11.
The Tigers (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Bulldogs come into the A North battle with a 12-0 record. In their last battle, Lawrence trounced Nokomis (Newport, ME), 68-40, in a league battle.
