Geffen Academy Bruins (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves (El Segundo, CA), 50-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Geffen Academy upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA) to play the The Aviators in a Coastal bout on Tuesday, January 23. The The Aviators come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Hawthorne Math & Science Academy won 46-25 in their recent league bout against New Roads (Santa Monica, CA)

Next up, the Wolves play the Torrance Tartars (Torrance, CA) in a Pioneer bout, on Monday, January 22. Wiseburn- Da Vinci will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Tartars come into the bout with a 10-12 record after their 68-33 league loss to North (Torrance, CA).
