Texas High School Basketball - Geneva overwhelms John Paul II

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Geneva (Boerne, TX) and the host John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX), saw Geneva's basketball squad wallop John Paul II by a tally of 74-24.

With the victory, Geneva improves its record to 22-3 on the campaign. The travel to Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX) to confront the Knights in a TAPPS 4A District 3 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 18-6.

Next up, the Guardians confront the John Paul II Centurions (Corpus Christi, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. John Paul II will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Centurions come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 49-28 league loss to Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX).
