Grace Christian Academy Cougars (Bainbridge, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Highland Christian Academy EAGLES (Valdosta, GA), 36-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Grace Christian Academy upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Cougars host Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Southwest Georgia Academy lost 64-44 in their recent non-league bout against Brentwood (Sandersville, GA)

Next up, the EAGLES play the Fullington Academy Trojans (Pinehurst, GA) in a GIAA A Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 26. Highland Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 50-18 league win over Grace Christian Academy (Bainbridge, GA).
