Virginia High School Basketball - Lake Taylor overwhelms Granby

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lake Taylor Titans (Norfolk, VA) and the host Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA), saw Lake Taylor's basketball squad wallop Granby by a tally of 53-23.

With the victory, Lake Taylor improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Titans host Norcom (Portsmouth, VA) to play the Greyhounds in a Eastern challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Norcom won 51-33 in their recent league challenge against Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA)

Next up, the Comets play the First Colonial Patriots (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Granby will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 83-37 league loss to Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA).
