In Friday's league outing, the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) basketball squad nipped the visiting Green Level Gators (Cary, NC), by a margin of 46-41.

The Mustangs (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Catamounts go into the 4A Southeast Wake outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Panther Creek got by Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 77-45, in a league outing.

The Gators now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Apex Friendship for a 4A Southeast Wake outing on Tuesday, January 23. Green Level will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 58-50 league loss to Cary (Cary, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 7-8.
