Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Little Elm Lobos (Little Elm, TX) and the visiting Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX), saw Little Elm's basketball squad hold off Guyer by a tally of 53-48.

With the victory, Little Elm improves its record to 24-7 on the campaign. The Lobos travel to Prosper (Prosper, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 23-7. Prosper won 47-43 in their recent league challenge against Boyd (McKinney, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Rock Hill Blue Hawks (Frisco, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Guyer will attempt to improve on its 8-17 season record. The Blue Hawks come into the challenge with a 10-15 record after their 62-30 league loss to Allen (Allen, TX).
