The Hammon Warriors basketball team (Hammon, OK), dropped 54-35 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Merritt Oilers (Elk City, OK)
The Oilers now possess a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seiling for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 20. Merritt will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 81-40 non-league win over Cheyenne/Reydon (Cheyenne, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-2.
The Warriors (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hinton (Hinton, OK). The Comets come into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Hinton dropped by Apache (Apache, OK), 57-54, in a non-league battle.
