Mulberry Panthers (Mulberry, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hardee Wildcats (Wauchula, FL), 63-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mulberry upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lakeland Christian (Lakeland, FL) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Lakeland Christian won 66-26 in their recent non-league bout against Discovery (Lake Alfred, FL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Lake Placid Dragons (Lake Placid, FL) in a 4A District 11 bout, on Monday, January 22. Hardee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 35-34 non-league loss to Victory Christian Academy (Lakeland, FL).
