Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Heidelberg Oilers (Heidelberg, MS) and the visiting North Forrest Eagles (Hattiesburg, MS), saw Heidelberg's basketball squad wallop North Forrest by a count of 52-14.

With the victory, Heidelberg upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Oilers host Mize (Mize, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 16-6.

Next up, the Eagles play the Richton Rebels (Richton, MS) in a 2A Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. North Forrest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record.
