Alabama High School Basketball - Highland Home ripped by Luverne

The Luverne Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Highland Home Flying Squadron to 20 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calhoun for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Luverne will meet a Tigers team coming off a 35-19 league win over Central (Hayneville, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 8-10.
The Flying Squadron (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Goshen (Goshen, AL). The Eagles enter the 2A Area 4 contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Goshen was routed by Luverne (Luverne, AL), 55-31, in a league contest.
