North Carolina High School Basketball - Hoke County knocked off by Pinecrest

The Pinecrest Patriots basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Hoke County Bucks to 53 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Pines for a 3A/4A Sandhills contest on Tuesday, January 23. Pinecrest will battle a Vikings team coming off a 73-14 league win over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-7.

The Bucks (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Fighting Scots enter the 3A/4A Sandhills contest with a 12-1 record.
