Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA), 66-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Liberty Christian upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Amherst County (Amherst, VA) to play the Lancers in a Seminole bout on Monday, January 22. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Amherst County lost 61-49 in their recent league bout against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Jefferson Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 81-27 league loss to Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA).
