Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Joseph Eagles (Joseph, OR), 52-15 in a league bout.

With the win, Powder Valley upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Badgers host Wallowa (Wallowa, OR) to clash with the Cougars in a 1A Old Oregon bout on Saturday, January 20. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Wallowa won 46-18 in their recent league bout against Cove (Cove, OR)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Imbler Panthers (Imbler, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon bout, on Saturday, January 20. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 43-16 league win over Pine Eagle (Halfway, OR).
