The Kasson-Mantorville Komets basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Lake City Tigers to 53 in the Komets non-league victory on Friday.

The Komets now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Byron for a AAA Section 1 contest on Saturday, January 20. Kasson-Mantorville will battle a Bears team coming off a 54-39 non-league win over Lourdes (Rochester, MN). The Bears record now stands at 12-2.

The Tigers (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Byron (Byron, MN). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 13-2 record.
