The Keith Bears basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Linden Patriots to 25 in the Bears league victory on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnson for a 1A Area 6 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Keith will battle a Eagles team coming off a 74-43 league loss to University Charter (Livingston, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 8-3.
The Patriots (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against University Charter (Livingston, AL). The Trail Blazers come into the 1A Area 6 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, University Charter triumphed over Johnson (Thomaston, AL), 74-43, in a league contest.
