The South Shore Cardinals basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the visiting Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles to 30 in the Cardinals league victory on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Solon Springs for a Northern Lights contest on Monday, January 22. South Shore will battle a Eagles team coming off a 40-32 league loss to Mercer (Mercer, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 3-8.

The Eagles (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Drummond (Drummond, WI). The Lumberjacks come into the Northern Lights contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Drummond was routed by Hurley (Hurley, WI), 41-35, in a league contest.
