The Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) basketball crushed the host Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX), 83-15 in Friday's league test.

The Lobos (27-2) will now prepare for their test against Big Spring (Big Spring, TX). The Steers go into the 4A Region I District 5 test with a 4-21 record. In their last test, Big Spring was trounced by Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX), 50-47, in a league test.

The Chiefs now own a 0-24 record. They play next when they travel to Snyder for a 4A Region I District 5 test on Tuesday, January 23. Lake View will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 52-26 league loss to Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 12-16.
