Nevada High School Basketball - White Pine overwhelms Laughlin

January 19, 2024: Ely, NV 89301

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV) and the visiting Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV), saw White Pine's basketball squad wallop Laughlin by a count of 51-9.

With the victory, White Pine upgrades its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Pahranagat Valley won 45-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV)

Next up, the Cougars play the GV Christian Guardians (Henderson, NV) in a 2A Southern challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Laughlin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Guardians come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 39-32 league loss to Awaken Christian (Las Vegas, NV).
