Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Chargers (Topeka, KS) and the visiting Leavenworth PIONEERS (Leavenworth, KS), saw West's basketball squad overcome Leavenworth by a tally of 55-36.
With the victory, West improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to South (Wichita, KS) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 7-1.
Next up, the PIONEERS confront the Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Leavenworth will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 58-33 non-league loss to St. James Academy (Lenexa, KS).
