Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Loretto Angels (El Paso, TX), 74-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 25-1 on the season. The Rangers travel to Fabens (Fabens, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a 4A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Fabens lost 41-17 in their recent league bout against San Elizario (San Elizario, TX)

Next up, the Angels clash with the Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Loretto will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Lobos go into the bout with a 17-7 record after their 53-37 league win over Clint (Clint, TX).
