McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), 67-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, McKinney North upgrades its record to 22-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Denison (Denison, TX) to play the Yellow Jackets in a 5A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a record of 10-14. Denison lost 74-49 in their recent league bout against Princeton (Princeton, TX)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 13 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Sherman will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Leopards come into the bout with a 19-12 record after their 83-12 league win over Greenville (Greenville, TX).
