Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers (Strasburg, ND) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND), 43-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Strasburg/Zeeland upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Clippers host Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter (Napoleon, ND) to play the Imperials in a B District 2 bout on Thursday, January 25. The Imperials go into the bout with a record of 3-11.

Next up, the play the Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds (Wyndmere, ND) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Medina/Pingree-Buchanan will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Warbirds go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 67-56 league loss to Sargent County (Milnor, ND).
