Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), 36-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Milford upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Mavericks travel to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI) to play the Lions in a Lakes Valley bout on Friday, January 26. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 10-1.

Next up, the Vikings play the South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI) in a Lakes Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Walled Lake Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
