Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Monahans Loboes (Monahans, TX), 98-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Seminole upgrades its record to 24-4 on the season. The Indians host Pecos (Pecos, TX) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Pecos lost 59-39 in their recent league bout against Greenwood (Midland, TX)

Next up, the Loboes play the Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Monahans will attempt to upgrade on its 4-21 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 11-16 record after their 45-37 league win over Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX).
