Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) and the visiting Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), saw Old Town's basketball squad wallop Mount Desert Island by a tally of 54-31.

With the victory, Old Town improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME) to confront the Wildcats in a B North challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Presque Isle lost 49-37 in their recent league challenge against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)

Next up, the Trojans confront the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) in a B North challenge, on Monday, January 22. Mount Desert Island will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 72-30 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME).
