Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Payson Lions (Payson, UT) and the visiting Mountain View Bruins (Orem, UT), saw Payson's basketball squad overcome Mountain View by a tally of 48-33.
With the victory, Payson improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Uintah (Vernal, UT) to confront the Utes in a 4A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Utes come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Uintah won 57-44 in their recent league challenge against Timpanogos (Orem, UT)
Next up, the Bruins confront the Provo Bulldogs (Provo, UT) in a 4A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 54-32 league win over Orem (Orem, UT).
