Normangee Panthers (Normangee, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Somerville Yeguas (Somerville, TX), 82-14 in a league bout.

With the win, Normangee upgrades its record to 23-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Mumford (Mumford, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 2A Region IV District 26 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Mumford won 46-38 in their recent league bout against Burton (Burton, TX)

Next up, the Yeguas clash with the Mumford Mustangs (Mumford, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 26 bout, on Friday, January 26. Somerville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
