In Friday's league match, the host Peninsula Seahawks basketball team scored a decisive 70-43 triumph over the Yelm Tornados.
In their next game, the Seahawks meet the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) in a 3A South Sound match, on Wednesday, January 24. Peninsula will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record.
With the defeat, Yelm moves to 1-8 on the year. The Tornados travel to Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA) to meet the Tides in a 3A South Sound match on Monday, January 22.
