Texas High School Basketball - Yorktown ripped by Port Aransas

The Port Aransas Marlins basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Yorktown Wildcats to 32 in the Marlins league triumph on Friday.
The Marlins now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Three Rivers for a 2A Region IV District 31 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Port Aransas will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 26-24 league loss to Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-6.
The Wildcats (9-21) will now prepare for their contest against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Region IV District 31 contest with a 3-6 record.
