Texas High School Basketball - Santa Rosa ripped by Rio Hondo

The Rio Hondo Bobcats basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Santa Rosa Warriors to 10 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to IDEA Weslaco Pike for a 3A Region IV District 32 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Rio Hondo will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 42-19 league win over IDEA Riverview (Brownsville, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-5.

The Warriors (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region IV District 32 contest with a 21-6 record.
