Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA), 62-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Sage Hill upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Lightning host North (Torrance, CA) to play the Saxons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 18-5. North won 68-33 in their recent league bout against Torrance (Torrance, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Beckman Patriots (Irvine, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Woodbridge will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 59-37 non-league win over Northwood (Irvine, CA).
