The West Lyon Wildcats basketball team scored 32 points and held the host Sheldon Orabs to 4 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Ansgar for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. West Lyon will meet a Saints team coming off a 63-12 league win over North Butler (Greene, IA). The Saints record now stands at 8-5.
The Orabs (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Warriors enter the Siouxland contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Sioux Center triumphed over Okoboji (Milford, IA), 56-39, in a league contest.
