With the win, Southside Christian upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Sabres host Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Christ Church Episcopal won 56-19 in their recent non-league bout against Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal (Simpsonville, SC) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. St. Joseph's Catholic will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Bengal come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 49-30 league loss to High Point Academy (Spartanburg, SC).
