In Friday's league challenge, the Dexter Southfield (Brookline, MA) ice hockey team nudged the host Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA), by a margin of 3-2.
The now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tabor Academy for a challenge on Friday, January 26.
The Tigers (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rivers (Weston, MA). The Red Wings enter the challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Rivers was edged by Groton School (Groton, MA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
