Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) and the host Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Air Academy's basketball squad overcome Cheyenne Mountain by a tally of 33-16.

With the victory, Air Academy improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Kadets travel to Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO) to confront the Bears in a challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Palmer Ridge won 39-36 in their recent league challenge against Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO)

Next up, the Red-Tailed Hawks confront the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) in a challenge, on Monday, January 22. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record.
