The Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC), 42-33 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks go into the test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Holly Springs went down by Panther Creek (Cary, NC), 29-24, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Cary for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23.
