Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), 46-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pinecrest upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Patriots host Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Bucks play the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Hoke County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
