In Friday's league battle, the host Carthage Bulldogs soccer squad scored a good 9-0 win over the New Diana Eagles.
The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Tenaha (Tenaha, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Tenaha was overwhelmed by Spring Hill (Longview, TX), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Eagles go into the 4A Region 2 District 15 battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Tatum was overwhelmed by Sabine (Gladewater, TX), 5-2, in a league battle.
