Next, the Gators confront the George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Gautier will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 4-3 league win over West Harrison (Gulfport, MS).

The War Eagles now possess a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Stone for a 5A Region 4 challenge on Monday, January 22. Wayne County will confront a Tomcats team coming off a 6-0 league win over Vancleave (Vancleave, MS). The Tomcats record now stands at 12-5.
