Minarets Mustangs (O'Neals, CA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Yosemite Badgers (Oakhurst, CA) in a Northwest Sequoia challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Minarets will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Badgers enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 4-1 league loss to Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA).

The Chieftains now have a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a Northwest Sequoia challenge on Tuesday, January 23. Sierra will confront a Hawks team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-8.
