In Friday's league challenge, the Cushing Academy Penguins (Ashburnham, MA) ice hockey team bounced the visiting Winchendon Wapiti (Winchendon, MA), by a margin of 7-0.

The Penguins now possess a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northfield Mount Hermon for a challenge on Wednesday, January 24. Cushing Academy will clash with a Hoggers team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Taft School (Watertown, CT). The Hoggers record now stands at 5-12.

The Wapiti (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Kents Hill School (Kents Hill, ME). The Huskies enter the challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Kents Hill School Berwick Academy (South Berwick, ME), 2-2, in a league challenge.
