North Carolina High School Basketball - Ashley can't hold off North Brunswick

The North Brunswick Scorpions basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle to 34 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Scorpions now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laney for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23.

The Screaming Eagle (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record.
