The Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) basketball knocked off the host Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC), 62-50 in Friday's non-league test.

The Villains (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC). The Furies go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record.

The Yellowjackets now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Winston-Salem Prep for a test on Tuesday, January 23. Carver will encounter a Phoenix squad coming off a 31-29 league win over Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Phoenix record now stands at 7-4.
