Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO), 62-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Mountain Vista upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 4-2.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Chaparral will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
