In Friday's non-league outing, the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC), by a count of 63-17.
The Crusaders (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Pride go into the outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Pine Lake Prep smashed Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC), 40-27, in a league outing.
The Lions now hold a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Bradford Prep for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 23. Langtree Charter will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 66-57 non-league loss to Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Bears record now stands at 11-2.
