North Carolina High School Basketball - St. Pauls can't hold off Fairmont

The Fairmont Golden Tornadoes basketball team scored 27 points and restricted the visiting St. Pauls Bulldogs to 26 in the Golden Tornadoes league victory on Friday.

The Golden Tornadoes now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Springs for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23.

The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, West Bladen edged Midway (Dunn, NC), 54-40, in a non-league contest.
