The Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC), 59-53 in Friday's non-league test.
The Trojans (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Corinth Holders was tipped by Clayton (Clayton, NC), 48-44, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Willow Spring for a non-league test on Monday, January 22. Southeast Raleigh will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 55-43 league win over Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Storm record now stands at 9-4.
