The Hamilton County Trojans basketball team (Jasper, FL), was nudged 40-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL)
The Hornets now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Branford for a non-league battle on Monday, January 22. Lafayette will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 37-27 non-league win over Saint Francis Catholic (Gainesville, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-6.
The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Union County (Lake Butler, FL). The Fightin' Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record.
